Yes, it’s hard to believe but Christmas holiday items are starting to appear at some retailers so planning ahead, the July class was themed “Christmas in July – Tags, Gift Cards, Bags & Boxes”.  This is a fun class and fortunately the Annual Catalog offers Christmas themed Designer Series Paper (DSP) and holiday stamp sets.  Participants were able to make two different gift card designs that are great for mailing to recipients.
The first is a gift card design is one that Dawn Griffith shared on her blog.  It is a 4″ x 4″ gift card holder that can be made quickly.   Add a custom envelope made using the Envelope Punch Board and you have a nice card for presenting your gift cards.  Please note that a card of this size requires extra postage and if using a patterned DSP you should address using a white address label to ensure the address is properly read.

The second gift card made utilized the Envelope Punch Board and is the same as described in the last post featuring Convention Swaps. The Merry Moments Designer Series Paper along with the Lots of Joy stamp set.
