The past few weeks have been busy preparing items for the annual artisan market sponsored by our local ladies club.  In between my son’s wedding and other commitments, it’s been a crazy couple of months but it’s always such fun to participate in the artisan market so I’ve been on a crazy crafting mission!  This year, I decided that I wanted to make items that would be great as stocking stuffers or table treats.  One such used the Fry Box Bigz L die.  Since the fry box will be stuffed with treats that are coated with powdered sugar, I decided to use Basic Black card stock to make the fry box and  white embossing powder for the holiday sentiment from the Oh, What Fun stamp set.  Two holly leaves were cut from Garden Green card stock using my Silhouette Cameo and using the same green stamping pad, sponged the edges of the leaves.  The holly berries are pearl basic jewels colored red using a permanent marker.

Reminder – To obtain a clear stamped image when using embossing powder, be sure to use an Embossing Buddy to eliminate static in the paper.  This will prevent the embossing powder from sticking to areas other than the image stamped with Versamark.  It also helps to have a small paint brush handy to brush away stray powder.  Do this before using the heat tool to set the embossing powder.
Thanks for stopping by and don’t hesitate to contact me with your questions.
