Before the throes of Thanksgiving preparations begin, I wanted to share a quick and easy “stocking stuffer” – pencil tubes. I made these for the recent craft sale and made extras to put into my grandson’s Christmas stocking. Seasonal pencils were put into 1″ x 8″ cellophane bags and embellished with a tag. The pencils have snowflakes which coordinate perfectly with the Flurry of Wishes stamp set. The Snow Flurry punch was used to cut the stamped snowflakes and the 1 3/4″ circle punch was used for the background base. Even better, the color of the pencils coordinated perfectly with Pacific Point card stock and ink. What can be easier than to stamp, punch and quickly assemble! A final touch was the addition of the Iced Rhinestone Embellishment and the “Let It Snow” banner. Note: the banner sentiment used is from a discontinued stamp set…but not a problem, there are numerous stamps from the Holiday Catalog with sentiments that would work wonderfully.
